Past GRAND events – Getting Real About Alcohol ‘n’ Drugs

 
For the third year running the club hosted its local evening event at Keppoch Campus School, Possilpark. The event was funded by Glasgow Community & Safety Services and the North Glasgow Addiction Forum.

The purpose of the event was to promote health and fitness and increase drug awareness, aimed at young people living in Possilpark and surrounding areas using a number of activities as a mechanism through which to engage the young people in discussion about drugs/alcohol.

On the night goodie bags were provided and activities included a 7 aside football tournament, music, dance and art based workshops, Sumo Wrestling, Goal Shooting, shooting hoops and an opportunity to get on your bike and make your own smoothie the environmentally friendly way.

A number of organisations were represented at the event, information stalls setup and workshops were delivered
